Our family loved our stay here and it was nice having everything under one roof.

Our stay began terrible so, I'll begin with the bad...We attempted to check in at 2:45 and were told check-in was at 3:00 but there would be a short delay because they only had 2 housekeepers and they were running behind. We walked along the River path until 3:15 and checked again. The desk clerk told me they were working on our room and it would only be another short wait. Then that woman went off duty. At #;40 I asked the evening clerk about the progress with our room. She told me that no one was cleaning that room and that the house keepers could only clean rooms in order and not deviate from their routine. She estimated we would have to wait until about 5:30 for our room. That seemed both ridiculous and inefficient to me to clean preassigned rooms for guests who had not arrived yet and leave two people waiting in the lobby. Additionally, people who arrived after us were getting sent to their rooms with no wait. Finally at 4:40 we were told that our room was ready. We were given key cards and told that we should be getting something of a discount on our room rate because of the inconvenience. She could not tell us how much because the manager would determine that. The clerk did not apologize for the wait and although several employees walked through the lobby many times during our 2 hour wait no one even offered us a complimentary bottle of water. Upon checking out there was no discount applied to the bill and I do not expect we will ever see one. The room was clean.
